This is a rant that is meant to condemn the actions of and "attract" the condemned, in this case, people who make threads just for attention and/or karma. Since this thread isn't asking for any discussions, I think this should be blogged.

They wouldn't have to complain about being flamed if people were mature enough not to flame in the first place. Can't blame people for acting their age (the complainers) but these people flaming are usually the immature ones.

Remember...

You're supposed to expect a younger age group to join this site, it's a Nintendo site after all. You were once a kid too and even though these guys aren't at our maturity level, let them enjoy themselves too.

Solution...

Just join in the fun and if you can't, just ignore the thread and move onto the ones you like. If you're seeing a decline in good quality threads, make some yourself! The staff have set a border line to what is and what isn't acceptable, just report the members who troll to help the mods out and make sure justice is served.

If you don't like what they're doing, STEER THEM ON THE RIGHT PATH THEN! Encourage them to make more intelligent posts, threads, etc. Why don't you make a guide (in the "new members" forum that teaches them how to do just that? Or (unofficially) "adopt a newbie" and teach him/her the ways of being a good member and who keeps the thread alive, is an intelligent poster, and doesn't get on people's nerves.
