When you first joined the site, what did you do?

My experience:

I heard about this from someone in mph. I made an account with the name ninja72 and the passwor...wait, Im not telling you that. Anyway, I think first I clicked on chat. My thoughts were, 'Hey, I can talk to people online?!!!' Yeah, I was a noob. Then, I embarassingly asked if anyone wanted to be my friend in the chat room. Almost everyone refused. Finally, a guy by the name of lazyluigi became my first friend. He explained visitor messages to me, and was helpful.

Later, I got more friends. I joined social groups, and made some. And a month ago, I discoverred threads. I still regret I never got to post in 'new members'.

Well, that was my experience.

What were yours like?

7 hours a day playing ACWW for the first two months. Started going on other forums more often, got mod near instantly (that's how cool I am) and here I am now.

I just post,chat,send messages and change my icon/sig whenever i join a new site.XD I don't usually get fractions though.... people just.... make me.... mad.

I joined in summer 08. My name was Oshiyama back then. I didn't do much as a new member, I never really posted in the forums until early 09. My first friend was bulletfrog. I spent a fair amount of time in the hubs. I joined with the initial plan to play SSBB online with some people. As I got into that, I started making friends slowly but surely. Now I'm at the point I am today. Not widely known but still a lot of people know me.

I joined, and didnt know about the new member area. So here i am all lonely like (i might get in trouble if i post in new members now) so ya i regret it.

I never did post in the "new members" thread. I just went to the chat room, and started Brawling with these guys that were, like, TOO good.

Mom's basement good. LOL!

It's not like I became instantly popular. I'm still not. Don't care to be.

Yeah, it was disappointing to miss getting to say youre new. Thats probably my biggest regret.
