Final Fantasy 7 or Super Mario Galaxy?

Kind of off topic, but I always get confused with the numbers being different in japan/ western world. FFVI is the one with Kefka, right?
Also, FFVII lasts longer, but the decision relies entirely on your genre preferences.

The numbers went back to the normal official order ages ago. You've had plenty of time to get used to it :|

I'm not really a big player or anything. I've only tried a few and finished fewer.

Do you mean FF5 never came to the U.S. at all or just not on the SNES? There is an FF5 on the GBA.

FF5 didn't come to the US until it was released officially on the PS1 in Final Fantasy Anthology.
