I just thought of a few more tips.

Always carry a pack of gum or mints in your jacket, even if you don't plan to use them yourself.
Offer them to people, they're good conversation-starters.

Learn to read someone's body language. If a girl looks at you with her head tilted down, kind of leaning towards you, then she probably likes you. If her feet are facing in your direction, even though her body is facing the other way, then she also probably likes you. Try to observe little gestures and facial expressions, as these occur subconsciously, and can reveal things about how they are feeling, or what they think of you.

(Not that I have a girlfriend or anything, these are just some things I've picked up on)

Another great way to cure hiccups is to eat a teaspoon of sugar. It works in 95% of all cases. That 95% statistic includes people who had chronic hiccups. Some of the people in the test had hiccups for over 2 years!

To keep away flies from your food when outside, place a few pennies in a zip lock bag filled with water. The shine of the pennies messes with their eyes.

This is interesting. And about the fly trick, does it have to be sunny to work, indoors or outdoors?

I mean, most likely I'm not going to be carrying around a ziplock bag full of water for such an occasion, but that is interesting.

It should work indoors, and outdoors I believe. I don't think it has to be sunny.

Here's a trick you might use at school. If a zipper is stuck (pants, backpack, etc), try rubbing a pencil on it, the graphite in the pencil will lubricate the teeth, and it will slide easier.
