How Liberal/Conservative are you?

Rate yourself on a scale of -5 to +5 of how liberal/conservative you are with -5 being very liberal to +5 being very conservative. Really think about this before putting yourself too extreme on any side or by labeling yourself perfectly neutral, or anything really.

Note: I decided to use negative numbers so a "scale" can be envisioned. I put liberal on the negatives because it is referred to as "left" and the negative numbers are on the left side of a scale. I didn't do this to put liberals below conservatives in any way, in fact I was thinking about putting conservatives on the negative side so no one would think I was biased.

Mine would be probably about +2. I'll admit that I'm a little conservative.

-3, I'm a democrat but, I don't think the government should do everything. I've tried to stay middle of the road but, I swing more to the left on a lot of issues.

Anyway, my parents are EXTREMELY conservative (they won't pay for my college unless I hate Obama with a passion), but, to tell the truth, I'm only moderately conservative. I'm not a nut about it like my parents.

I prefer not to involve myself with modern American politics. I hate both parties right now. Neither is right, or even close to being right. If one of them can change their minds and stop invading others privacy for the purpose of,er, "saving" them,(communism in vietnam, africa, everywhere;taliban in afghanistan, not to mention their oil, can't let them have that) i'll be willing to participate.

Don't think of this thread about which American political party you prefer, it's just asking about how you personally think you fit on the spectrum. Just because one party is right and one is left, doesn't mean that's what the spectrum is.

Right, thanks for the clarification. I kinda jumped to conclusions when i saw liberal and conservative. Sometimes i just have to vent my rage at the idiocy that is American politics.
