Purpose:Buddies

What is the purpose to haveing buddies.I have them but i dont know what there for.

so you dont have to search for your friends every 5 min...instead you have them on your buddy list

Just to have friends. There's no real "secret" or something like extra posts if that's what you mean. It just let's other users know who your friends are.

While on this subject, I have a question to ask. When you check someone's profile and then click "add this user to your buddy list" they ask you to write their name in correctly. I write down their name in correctly but it doesn't show them as my buddy. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

In all, I probably added about 10 people but only 3 of my buddies appear.

dont know sry but when i click on my friends thr box goes unchecked not to a pager orprivate message.

well for me, most of my buddies are people i play games with, so when i feel the need to play, i can just check the home page and see if they are online

It's probably case-sensitive.
