Well you just have to be confident in your drawing ability and submit it anyway, because you never know if they will submit it or not. I was lucky enough to get it in the magazine the first year the magazine was released.

If you were born in 1988 how did you get a drawing into the magazine the first year it was released (1988)? Either you're talking about a different magazine, or you're a very natural and talented artist...very talented.

Yes, my picture on the front page of a school magazine. It was for getting the highest average in my grade and winning athlete of the year in the same year. It was weird having a school of K-12 see you. 0.o
