Having used both all through my life, I would have chosen to get a Mac last year when I brought my laptop if it had the same compatibilities with games as a PC does. But the fact that it didn't meant that I brought a Sony Vaio laptop, and I love it.

i've experienced both mac and pcs i loved them both but i personally prefer pcs because i love mmorpgs and when i played a few of them on my dads alienware laptop i experienced flawless gameplay it really all depends what your going to do with 1 when you get it if your gona play games nd just fool around with it i say get a pc if your planning to create like sites and other stuff like that go with a mac

Just install a virtual windows with Bootcamp and problem solved.

Hey, Roly, this isn't a missionary =P

Windows can emulate Mac too you know. PCs are more customizable and you have a lot more freedom compared to Macs. I would say that Macs are for people you like things nice and simple with looks. PCs are for people who want power, freedom and everything. I would continue but I might start an argument which I usually do.

PS: Usually PC owners bombard topics like this and Mac users start flaming. I'm guessing PC owners just don't want to start a flame war. 8D

You cannot install Mac on a PC windows legally since Apple Purposely makes it impossible to install on PC.

And for power, try linux.

Edit: Bootcamp is the utility to install windows on Mac.
