Extremely high pitched buzz in my ear... whats wrong?

well when i was younger my brother shot one of those party poppers at my ear, and sometimes i can hear a really high pitched noise...

the more you ignore it, the softer it gets (i have had it for at least 10 years and now i cant even hear it unless there is ABSOLUTELY no sound wherever i am.

Listened to something at a high volume. Your earsdrum couldn't take it and got damaged.
A sudden loud sound damaged your ear drums.

Either way, your eardrums just got damaged. If it hasn't gone in 24hours, go to your GP/Doctor for a check up. Might need a hearing aid.

Did you listen to something loud? You better take care of your ears more or else the buzz noise could be pernament.
