I decided when I went to play it to use my pedal to have the major 3rd play over it sounding like an Iron Maiden style riff.

Nice man. I learn songs by ear too, it's pretty awesome. I really like the tone of your guitar in this. It sounded really good. One thing you should think of doing is making the tune more fancy, adding bends and trills and stuff into it. You sound like you could do it, you have some skills and such. But yeah, this is pretty sweet.

What kind of guitar do you have? Just out of curiosity.

Thanks man. My fingers are short and stubby, so I'm not very good at making chords.

And I have a Talmer acoustic guitar with an Ibanez pickup, and my amp is Peavy.
