A friend of mine hung out here- and kept showing me stuff on it, and eventually, when I was looking for another art community to raid- he sent me here. I became one of the best artists on the site, totally smacking Scyther in the face- and then proceeded to just hang out around the site.

Back when AC:WW was the best thing to be doing, I met up with some people on the Runescape forums and went to their towns. After a few weeks of that one of them (Skater1000 here) told me about this site. I came here and lurked for a few days before making an account.
I rarely posted out of MP:H and MK:DS for a ages before getting into GFX.

i was doing a speech in 2005 for sophomore speech class about the dangers of drinking raw unpasteurized milk and i accidently typed in "friendcodes" into the google search engine instead of "dangers of raw milk." Kind of a big slip up, huh? Well it worked out for the best.

Nah, there is actually lots and lots and lots of history for me, but i would prefer not to get into it. I started here looking for a place to play Mario Kart DS though.

It's scary how similar my story is to R1kk1s. However, Advanced-Biff was the one who told me about it, not Google, but I did plan to open a league, which I did after 7 days of being on the site (though Biff got the credit, The Official Pokemon League was as much mine as it was his) and I too never left the D/P forums, until I became Events Team, then I mostly frequented the staff forum (and btw, I still own the Events Forum, even though I've been off staff for almost two months, meaning I can't post there.) After that, I became a Mod, and found out about the wonders of the General Discussion board. The rest writes itself.

A long time back, when the DS was first released, long before Nintendo WiFi, DSMeet was a site for organizing games IRL for multiplayer, and had quite the little community at the time. You could find games in your area across the pond, etc.
I didn't really feel for that style, though (much like TMG's smaller version, when it was active). So one day when WiFi came about, I figured out seeing what the riff raff was, and was in the DSM IRC Chat, when someone (forgot who) started spamming friendcodes.com in chat and such, trying to annoy everyone.
I joined irc.friendcodes.com, and liked it better.

Well, I just got Pokemon Battle Revolution when it released and I only started playing Wi-Fi in Feb '07. I think I remember that I searched for a site for exchanging friendcodes and this site popped up. So I registered and wasn't very active, and browsed here a couple days then stopped. I think I browsed here again some last November.

Then like a day before Brawl came out I remembered this place and wanted to get some friendcodes for Brawl, and so here I am active for the last 2 and a half months.
