Re: Mac Vs. PC - 06-20-08

I'm not basing it solely on my unpleasant memories of my elementary school macs. My cousin owns one right now and he dreadfully hates it and it's understandable since I could never use a mac because it would never be able to do what I want it to do. Mainly it's just because all the programs I use on windows I can't use on macs.

edit: lmao at the dude above me, I was kicked out of the apple store at the glendale galleria because I got into an argument with an employee because he was one of dumbest people that I've had to interact with.

Not a automated machine saying "Press 1 for Hardware, 2 for Virus Alert, 3 for Customer Service, or hold for the next available operator" Now with MAC, yes they have automated machines when you call but 9/10 of the time its a real life person you talk to and you can make appointments ANY day to get a lesson on movies, music, or even just to make a html. So please don't BS me with "Well Dell costs cheaper" In reality no they don't.
Okay dokey I attempted to even out the parts as best I could.

DELL:

PROCESSOR Intel® Core™2 Extreme QX9650 (12MB,3GHz Factory O/C'd to 3.67GHz)

OPTICAL DRIVE Single Drive: 16X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) w/double layer write capability

ADVANCED DISPLAYS Dell Ultrasharp 3007WFP-HC 30-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor

HARDWARE SUPPORT 3Yr Ltd. Warranty- Advance Exchange

APPLE:

Processor Two 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon (8-core)

Memory 4GB (4 x 1GB)

Graphics Card NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 1.5GB (Stereo 3D, two dual-link DVI)

If I am wrong do correct me.

Now One thing I must yeild to is that Apple computers can be much more powerful, however it is expensive as all hell, not that it already isn't.

Now... Windows XP VS Vista:
Vista is better if you didn't get Vista when it first came out. Vista works fine people!

Re: Mac Vs. PC - 06-20-08

Get a PC if you want to:
Play games
Make games
Hack
Get Hacked

Get a Mac if:
You're a Musician
You wanna make great videos
You want everything done straight to the point

dammit. Just go see the mac adds.

I have nothing againt Windows. I mean, they just copied os x tiger for vista and now they've replaced vista for Windows 7 because vista was.. um... crap? But now Leopard is out for Mac and it works like a dream. But if you like to play games with a keyboard and mouse, get a PC.

And the REAL reason for you guys to get a Mac is
because
SAINT
uses
Mac.

Peace.

Re: Mac Vs. PC - 06-20-08

In the TB part, most servers can only hold up to 2 TB with out Overclocking it. My PC is pretty good. I mean it does not freeze(Xp User) I just have viruses cause....i download almost everything i find. LOL. The thing i hate about mac is that not alot of things are compadable with it.

Re: Mac Vs. PC - 06-20-08

i persanalie like Pc way more than mac.
If you want something for graphics and design than you would want a mac.
Now if you wanted gaming, ofice, and stuff like that then you want a Pc.
Pcs are good for just about anything except graphics.
Now say you have a mac and your web cam broke.........you would need to send the entire thing in and if you have a Pc and your web cam broke you just need to replace the webcam itself not the entire computer like with a mac............SOOOOO
in conclutiion to me macs suck and pc rule.
