Are there any Manga artists out there? I made a group for Manga artists. And mods, if necessary, move this thread.

That's the link to the group. Anyways, I need more Manga Artists for the contest that's happening right now. It ends on the last day of August. There will be upcoming comtests, too.

I doubt anyone on this site is a Manga Artist after what I've seen as attempts to draw decent manga...

Just so I get this straight, when you say 'Manga Artist' what do you mean?

anyone who knows how to draw Manga, or at least has some "how to draw Manga" books. pretty much, I'm not asking for people who actually publish their's, just people who just draw it for fun

Well, since TruthWielder just bashed 60% of the artists here I won't say that I can draw manga, but I am trying my best to make my art "closer" to being manga. =)


I'll join just for the sake of the group it's self.

Wut? I was referring to what he was talking about. By Manga Artist, I was presuming 'mangaka' as in people who make and create manga, not just images of manga/anime characters but the ACTUAL MANGA. Hence, I asked him what he meant by 'manga artist'.

My presumptions were wrong when he replied what he actually meant by the term, but that's not the point. In no way did I 'bash' 60% of the artists. No one on this site creates manga, from what I've seen; they just draw manga/anime characters.
