Best Pencil to draw with?

WTF is this!? American pencils :|

Mechanical pencils in my opinion are the worst to draw with. They're better for writing with when you're making mistakes.

Just buy a regular pencil. 2B is what I tend to use, you can get a better image and you can smudge more to smooth areas out. America tends to want to separate itself from the rest of the World so I'm guessing you guys would call it something else like Soft2.

Smudge sticks cost less then a dollar and a kit of over 10 good sketch pencils is around $10.

I don't mind 2B pencils but I hate needing to stop and sharpen it every few minutes in order to keep my lines thin, that's why prefer mechanical, because the lines don't get thicker and I don't need to sharper the pencil. If I was doing a big sketch it would be fine, but for small ones I prefer mechanical.

Not to mention I push really hard with wooden pencils and then my lines become un-erasable.

I use 2B, 6B, H, 2H, 5B, 4B, 3B, B, HB... ^^; My F pencile I lost.. >.>
