apparently psp 5.0 will be released possibly october 14th.
This update is rumored to have the PS store.

So, are you planning to update?

It was confirmed by sony this morning. =P

It should be out by today or tomorrow.

But yea, it wil have the PS store on it, and you can sign into your PS account, i wonder if it will have your friends list on it. =o

I'm hoping the PS3 update comes out tonight, but seeing as it would probably be at like 10PM or later PST I doubt I would be able to use it until after school tomorrow anyways. :P Since it has to do with the HD mic, it pretty much has to come out today or early tomorrow seeing as that is when Socom releases with the official mic. :D This update sounds awesome.

Meh, I dunno. On one hand, I'm glad that I don't have to go on my dad's comp to download a game (I have a Mac, so the downloader doesn't work on my machine). Of course, with the economy going bad, I don't want to develop an addiction to DLC.
