My lucky day: A free 360

So this kid that lives on my street had a RRoD 360, and got a new one because he was too lazy to fix it/send it in. So he gave it to me and I fixed it using the towel trick. Unfortunately, it didn't have the cords that they normally come with so I can't sell it to GS. But at least now I have a back-up 360. XD

I might send it in to MS if it RRoD's on me again though, and it probably will. Can't complain about a free 360 though.

Now that just downright angers me. How come the rich get richer? I've been needing a new console for two years! And someone just hands you a (defective)console, just like that! Ah well. Enjoy your broken piece of crap.

Dunno about other people, but I saved my money from work for nearly 3 months to buy my PS3...

Actually, no. I was going to do that, but you get $80 for the 360 w/ the cords. The kid who gave me the 360 didn't have the cords (he lost them), and to buy them would cost me more than I would make from selling it. xD

I'm just keeping it as a backup for now.
