360 or PS3?

I think this was a tough call because the 360 usually overheats a lot and eventually will break and the ps3 and very good graphics. It all depends on the games that they have like for the ps3 Little Big Planet and 360 Halo.

Both of them have Eternal Sonata which was supposedly a good game...I also liked Metal Gear and Tales of Vesperia.

I'm going for ps3.

Didn't Snakepit disprove that already?

Saying the PS3 cost more is like saying how prone the 360 is to breaking. I went with the PS3 because it's cheaper in the long run for me. Plus Blu-Ray has really been useful.

No dought, if you ignore the price, PS3 is FAR BETTER!!! I absolutely love it!!! Also, when you include the price, think about it this way. You are getting a 360, plus a Blu-Ray player, and a Blu-Ray player is normally over 250 dollars. So for sure, I think the PS3 is better.
Also, the online system is amazing, and its free. I like how it is completely backwards compatible, unlike the 360, and it has motion sensing. It looks cooler and runs better than the 360 im my mind too.
The only thing that the 360 has ever had over PS3 is a larger selection of games. Yet in my mind, its quality, not quantity!

- A shoutout to Chaoszero:::: Chaos this is no offence to your opinion at all that the PS3 is better, but I made my choice and bought the 360 today. It may be a little bit more expensize, but I can afford it, and with the free silver membership for online play to start out with, i'm sure i'l have the money to renew it by the time it expires =)
- And there are TONS more people online, so i'm happy :P My first game is "Lost Oddesey". Its decent ;D

Uhm hate to burst your bubble but the silver membership only gives you the option to download things from the marketplace. it dosnt enable you to go online in matchmaking and stuff like that. you would need a gold membership

Man, and there is no dought in my mind that PS3 has better graphics. I have seen both, and they are about equal, but PS3 definitely wins. Also, PS3 is far more durable, cost far less within a year or 2, and there are plenty of good games. The controllers are also better in my mind, and it is fully backwards compatible with PS2. You dont have to buy batteries for the controllers, you can just recharge them. Also, the controllers are lighter, and they have motion sensing. Also the accesories are definitely better for the PS3.

Oh, dont get me wrong, Halo is a great game, yet I think that there are also tons and tons of good games for the PS3. Also, unless your a millionaire, you cant buy a ton of games for each console, so who cares if the 360 has over 500 games, why would you need that many? Half of them are crap too anyway!

on gamespot.com they made a who has the better graphics between the two.
the test was on FALLOUT 3 and the XBOX 360 won. some things werent even visible on the ps3 the xbox had better texture and the it goes on about how the xbox has better graphics. so there you go. and if you dont believe me go check it out
