The chance to get a PSP....

Ok so ill be going up to the city tommorow and in GAME there having a 20% extra on all trade ins deal. So i could sell my DS and all my games to get a PSP. I think PSPs are 199 euros and selling my DS will get me 90 euro (without adding 20% extra on to it) and i have 70 euros already, plus i have a couple games so ill definitely be able to afford one. But i cant keep thinking ill end up regretting it. Did anyone here sell their DS for a PSP and regret it? Should i go ahead with this plan or just save up for a PSP?

I would save up for a PSP. You're going to regret selling your DS if you do. PSP only has a limited amount of quality games and the line up for this years games aren't that great.

Anyway, yeah, I would DEFINITELY trade my DS in for a PSP. Sure, there aren't as many games available, but it's the only system where you're able to download free retail games. And that has given me enough to keep me hooked on my PSP.

Why give up more for less when in the end you can have both?

just save up sell any useless games u dunt like for your ds and hey presto you've started or you could buy better games for ds and get psp for christmas or birthday :D

I think you'll just have to decide for yourself. Do you play your DS often? Is there games you want/looking forward to on DS? If so, you should probably just save up for the PSP. Most likely you'll regret trading it in and/or wind up getting another DS.

You don't have to sell your DS but if you really want more challenge asides from DS and you still like the DS games, do not sell it. Rather, you should save your money as you can for your PSP plan.

Well, I have both. And I can clearly state that my DS gets much less attention than my PSP. In fact, I am trying to sell it for a PS3 right now. My homebrew PSP keeps me entertained for hours. The decision is yours.
