I don't see the
Wii being a hardcore system for a few reasons: It's lack of half decent online games. You can be as intense as you want these days if you can't actually prove that without going to a local tournament it's scarcely true. I would so the "hardcore"
Wii games consist of MK:
Wii (Small Community) MoH (Even Smaller Community) and Brawl (Big Community). I consider the
Wii's technology, philosophy and ideas next gen, but not the
Wii itself. It just doesn't apply itself in a way that can make me say "Wow this really feels next gen" it's more like, "Wow I've traded mashing buttons for flailing arms".
I am a hardcore gamer, with most games, but not all. Single Player games I go nuts in, I have a perfectionist attitude with Single Player aspects of games, so I try and do everything, or close to it. With online my W/L ratio, Damage Given/Damage Taken & K/D spread is pretty much what I live by.
