Really? My N64, original Xbox, Playstation 2, Gamecube are all in perfect working order. All 1st timers. You sure it's not possible that a major company cut corners trying to get a head start on the competition?

Im lucky i guess. I still have my Launch 360 (got it day one) and i have had 0 problems so far. Well Microsoft needs to fix this, even though the repairs are free i would start sending angry letters attached with my console after the 5th repair...

Thats exactly what Microsoft did. They were out before the Wii and Ps3. It was their master plan and it was a bad decision.

You are right,they did cut corners and all that,but you knew that,after what,your 3rd or 4th 360?Why not change your console caring habits? Try to dust it off every couple of weekends,make sure the space is well ventilated,and try reading the instruction manual for the "Important" signs, I'm sure you will keep that 6th 360 for a very very long time.

Lol Did all that, first time i got mine it didn't turn on after the 1st day of use. The next either rrod or quit reading the disk. Kept in a open place and cleanedthe vents whenever dust collected to heavily.

And it's not necessarily about bad console care. My friend's 360 ringed the first time he turned it on.

6 RROD is hard to believe, try buying an adaptable fan, there only like £15 ($20?) and i never really had a problem.
