Lol...That's right, I'm lol'ing at that fact that my 5th Xbox just got hit with the infamous ring. It's funny how Microsoft keeps saying that they've fixed this problem, and it keeps coming. If it wasn't for them repairing it for free, I would have given up a long time ago. But now, the hastle of having it repaired is ticking me off. You know what they say: 6th Xbox is the charm. For the other 360 owners out there, how many rings have you suffered through, if at all?

I haven't had any problems with my 360 yet,but I I've only had mine for 3 about months.But really, if this is you're 6th 360,truth be told, it's prolly not the 360,but the owner instead.

Implying that I have bad luck? or that I don't know how to take of a console. Because the first is not far from the truth, but the latter is completely false. My 360's have never moved from their wire shelf on my desk. Microsoft made a defective design trying to get their new console on the market first.

Dude, that sucks.
I'm on my second Ps3, but my first was screwed up from the start. The fan sounded really messed up, like it was bent.
It was all like SHIKASHIKASHIKASHIKA
That lasted for about 3 months, then the fan stopped working, then started, then stopped etc. etc. etc. until it finally crapped out. I sent it to sony, and what do you know, it started working again when they got it. (ps3 from hell!) When we described our earlier situation, they sent a new one anyway, even though they couldn't find any problems with the first.
What a nice bunch of folk.

Hehe yeah Jake is right, that internal fan collects a bit of dust so I clean it out once in a while.

I'm not implying that you have bad luck,but I do think that you take poor care of consoles.Because c'mon this is your 6th 360,not your 2nd,not your 3rd,heck not even your 5th,but your 6th....360...It's obviously you sir.
