I watched all the reviews, but few touched on the online part other than how easy it was to get on. That's why I wanted to ask actual players how good the connection quality usually is and if the online is fun in general.

Yeah, I am a huge fan of the series, buuut

do those packs all cost microsoft points or are some free?

The car packs are gonna cost a bit as well as Big Surf Island, but I believe that there is a version of the game called the Ultimate Box which has all of this included. It is a great game, but it will wear on you after a bit. Its really just fun in short bursts.

Oh yeah , and the online works really well.
