Just got 360. How should I get on LIVE?

Well, I ordered my 360 from Target.com yesterday and it should be here in about a week. I don't have ANY money left for a WiFi adapter if I get LIVE, so should I? I don't think the cord to my router can reach my TV, so can I even get on XBOX LIVE?

You can buy longer cables if you need too. The wireless adapter is over priced it shouldn't be $99 but thats Microsoft for you. If your getting a game which has amazing online like CoD4, CoD: WaW, Halo 3, etc then yes you probably want Xbox Live, but if your getting a game that has bad online like Unreal Tournament 3 or something along that nature, then just wait until you get a game that is worth having Xbox Live.

I don't think their's another way to connect to live wirelessly. I use the adopter myself. Besides, you only need to pay for gold membership which enables you to play games online, voice chat and other stuff. I'd get the adopter now and save up for gold later, but that's just me.

Like the person on the top of the page, i'd get a longer cable, and you don't connect the cable modem to TV, you connect it at the back of the Xbox 360 to your to modem. Hope I helped, if I helped that is.

=P I know it goes into the XBOX, It's just that my XBOX will be conviently placed NEXT TO my TV. xD

I'll be getting Modern Warfare 2 and Halo 3, (Probably not in that order. xP) but currently I'm totally broke. In your opinion, how good is the online for Burnout Paradise? (It's currently the only 360 game I own.)

PS. My system and game will arrive on the same day, so I SORT OF own this stuff. xD

I've personally never played the Burnout series or Burnout Paradise in general. I've heard its a really great game of all out racing mayhem. I know that it is better than the old games and that load times and menus have been improved. The online is good with numerous games and an easy friends list system. I know that joining a game that a friend is easier than ever and like I said, load times have been reduced.

There is also and expansion pack that has been released awhile ago with new cars, tracks, areas, etc. It's worth getting if your a fan or the series of racing in general.
Although, some people I've talked to (my friends to be exact) say that after awhile it may get boring but thats there opinions.

It will also be worth your while to look at reviews online (IGN, Gamespot, etc) and watch gameplay videos on youtube. I tend to do this alot when looking into a game. I go to youtube, type in the game I would like to see and you get hundreds of videos of gameplay and online gameplay.
