To be honest, 90% of the games I play are popular. The ones that I would consider being unpopular are FIFA 10 and Donkey Kong 64. That should tell you something.

Really this is kind of bland and boring. Now usually people only make threads about the most commonly known video games. I mean I am tired of hearing about Mario, Link and basically every character that has a billion games for them or are extremely popular because no one compares them to predecessors. I find a lot of members boring.
I try submitting threads about minor party games or heck any game that is outside Nintendo, but everyone only seems to talk about is Pokemon or Super Smash.
Granted I play them, but I have a broad perspective in gaming, I love playing/trying any kind of franchise out. I never give games bad credibility I always try to find the many pros and try to ignore most of the cons.

What you say is true Wolfie456. Many people on Friendcodes are mainly on the MArio, Smash, Zelda, and Pokemon franchises. I think the reason for this is because most members on Friendcodes are younger and haven't experienced or been through the SNES or Nintendo 64 saga.

When I was like 4 I just started in on the Nintendo 64. I never got to experience the SNES and NES stage, and I'm really sad I missed it. Some people on Friendcodes jsut haven't had much experience with games outside of Zelda, MArio, Samus, etc. That is the main reason why people don't make threads or talk much about Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, etc.

If you would ask me what N64 I thought was the best It would be Oot. But that isn't going with the crowd because it genuinely is my fav game on any console and I just have a lot of good memories playing it. However that being said I also play a lot of games that I doubt a lot of people here would have heard of. Growing up with the NES I have a lot of extreamly strange titles lol.

I've also played a lot of Wolfenstein games. Was really into enemy territory at one point. Oh and Kayzee I was really into custom robo when it first come out. Me and Freddy use to play it a lot on this site a long with MPH. Problem was finding others to play and the interest eventually died.

I'm sure there are a lot of people here who don't follow the same gaming trends as others here. Things might look bland here on the surface but I'm sure if you take the time to dwelve a little deeper a lot of people will surprise you.

Also, about my statement when it came to OoT, I was meaning going with the crowd, linkeh gave good reasons however.

Going back to your "best N64 game" comment, you would have to agree that Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 were the best games(though I prefer Majora's Mask over Ocarina of Time any day.)

I actually didn't like OoT all that much and to me Super Mario 64 was pretty cool but I thought at the time F-Zero X was the greatest of the 64 titles. Today however, I understand how much of a leap those games were and I do hold them with grandeur, but they weren't the best in my opinion.

My opinions are a lot different than most people's.
