Most of the members here don't know about many of the great obscure games of any generation. If I asked which N64 game was the best I would get OoT and SM64 for about 90% of the answers.

Really this is kind of bland and boring. Now usually people only make threads about the most commonly known video games. I mean I am tired of hearing about Mario, Link and basically every character that has a billion games for them or are extremely popular because no one compares them to predecessors. I am also amazed by how few people here have actually played Wolfenstein and Doom for the old Microsoft computers. Its a very low number.

Still, I am just saying, FC is bland.

Final note: It is okay to make threads about popular video games once in a while, but if there is already a thread about it, please refrain from making your own about the same game. Make that thread about an obscure game.

I agree. I refrain from discussion of more obscure games on here because they don't get attention, and nobody replies to them. I'm a HUGE Custom Robo fan, and would seriously enjoy some Custom Robo discussion here at FC, but nobody here would ever know that because nobody else here is a Custom Robo fan. They all like Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, and Super Smash Brothers. It's really annoying.

Usergroups + Advertisement. You never know if you'll find that someone who digs what you dig.

*Note: Fanclub usergroups usually fail due to FC being FC.

Also, I think the best N64 game is Banjo Kazooie. However, my favorite is, for some reason, Mortal Kombat 4.


So yeah, your statements are true. Thus being a reason why I plan on going.
