Is there something wrong with my Resident Evil Code: Veronica X disk!?!?!? HELP!!!

I bought Code: Veronica X for the PS2, but when I loaded it up in my system, it says, "There's no Veronica X memory blah blah blah blah; Press START to continue with default settings," or whatever... I pressed start and nothing happened... I tried changing controllers and memory cards and pressing other buttons, but nothing ever happens... It's not freezing at that message, because when I take the memory card out it says there is no memory card inserted... So is it the disk or something?

It could be the disk, I'd take it to where ever you bought it and explain the problem. Maybe it could be your PS2, like if it's really old and has problems, but I would guess the disk is the one with the problem.

It's not the PS2... The PS2 is fine... I'll just take the disk back to GameStop and tell them like you said...

To be on the safe side to, bring the receipt with you so you can show you just bought the game in-case it needs to be replaced.

Yea yea for sure... Luckily I JUST bought it xDDD It kind of sucks though... I'm leaving my mum's house to go back home for a week and get college stuff squared away (running start stuff) so I will have to wait until next Sunday to get it replaced >.<

Lolol thanks xD, but I haven't owned the game for a full week yet... I've only had it for three days lol xDDD They give you a full refund if you return the game within a week for whatever reason...
