We really need a thread about the greatest war-themed hat simulator of all time. Now we can laugh at the people who lack hats, or talk about "weapons", whichever works.

much as i loved it, after all the updates on the game its like my comp can't handle it anymore, the framerate wasn't perfect when i played originally but manageable, but after a hundred updates i can barely run it. the framerate drops horribly

I too enjoy a game of Team Fortress 2 on occasion. Usually go for medic or pyro.

I suggest you update your hardware. If you can't run TF2 then I assume you can't run anything post-2005 (well) that isn't 2D.

i can run minecraft wow, and the halflife games just fine

but for whatever reason TF2 has horrible framerate issues for me


the other ones i can get working jsut fine, with no, to minimal framerate drops(wow runs at a constant 35-40 frames, not perfect, but far from the lousy 5-10 frames I get with TF2)

I have no clue why it started doing this, all i know is after a lot of the updates to it, it has done thsi, when i first got it(around when the heavy's first unlocks were announced) i had no framerate issues at all. But now its downright ridiculous.

I tried that myself and it brought my FPS way up.

I only have Framerate problems when I join a server, its always lag and then it catches back up in like 3 seconds. My framerate is pretty good otherwise.

Same. Before, my fps was severely unstable, fluctuating anywhere between 40-170. Now it's running at a solid 60 frames with no dips (Vsync on because of terrible screen-tearing).

So what's y'all's favorite classes?

I personally play mostly Scout and Soldier.
