No announcement for Dreamcast 2

It would be nice to see Sega's Dreamcast having a sequel. It would be awesome, in fact. I picked up a used one, thinking it was just a primitive, old, crappy, auto-starting console that I decided to purchase just for kicks. I was wrong. I read about it on Wikipedia right after buying it, learning all this cool stuff like the orange light being a Japanese sign of luck, and the memory card having a screen. Ever since I heard the console didn't get enough momentum before the Playstation 2's launch, I was ••••ed. I blamed Sony. Sega could've merged with the Big N. Now I found out that those wusses aren't coming with a sequel. They would've been rolling with money and getting girls by the second. Well, maybe that's...getting too far. What I mean to say is that old Sega fanboys would've loved it. Let's just hope for Virtual Console to debut Dreamcast games. Peace.

Wow, i can't belive you never picked up a Dreamcast until now. I wouldn't know anything about them bringing it to the Wii, i'm not sure if Wii has headset support for such games as "Seaman" and "Alien Front Online", those were my favorite. I still have my Dreamcast and play it every free chance i get.

yea, Dreamcast was my favorite system when i was a kid. I remeber my friends kept bugging me to play it, while i was wearing my Dreamcast shirt that i wore til it was torn to shreads 5 years or so later. I really loved played with the chao from sonic on the memory cards. I still have my dreamcast, just that all the games are gone and all the plugs are missing.

here's an interestingly relevent piece of knowledge: the Dreamcast system is no longer in production and neither are its games (not even in Japan) :)

Though i don't own a dreamcase i have played it many times and yes its good, but if you did hear this that SEGA will no longer make conoles(there marketing system sucks) and they just now make games. But the dream cast and the Genesis is the best.

Almost everyone knows that,unless they've been living in a rock.
And I had a Dreamcast,but it somehow burned out,maybe I shouldn't have kept it on for hours at times.I would've bought a new one but mine broke after they canceled production.

No way would that happen, the revelation of NiGHTS on Wii and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games suggests that Nintendo and Sega are kinda partners in game development now! Sega won't make a new console!

Sega was making a new console before it left the console business. I still have my dreamcast. I play it sometimes. Also it had sold better in US than in Japan. In Japan, they were ranked below a milk company that had been sued for food poisoning on the exchange market.

lol! dreamcast games r fun. and i can understand y its off marketing because we have better things like the Wii,PS3,Xbox, and all them,

o tiny little brother of mine... WE ARE TALKING ABOUT WHEN AND HOW DREAMCAST WENT OUT!

Sorry, listen, Dreamcast was the greater system of its time. It amazed us with better memorie cards and newer controlers, (which if i remember, somewhat looks like a fatter 360 controller.)
