Halo 3 Beta vs. Halo 2

How does the Beta play compared to Halo 2? I don't have the Beta or even a 360 But I am considering to get one. How different is it from Halo 2 in concerns of gameplay, overall feel, etc.?

the beta great halo 3 online alot better than halo 2 online even though its only beta:confused:......
the graphics are great, but on beta there are alot of noobs who never got halo 2

My brother has Halo 3 Beta and i played it once. I think its a lot better then Halo 2's mulitplayer. The graphics are A LOT better and they just have a lot of excellent weapons, like the bubble shield...

The game is great in my opinion.

Good things about the game in my opinion:

The graphics are much better

Cool New Weapons

New Looks for Weapons

New Items like the Trip- Mine, bubble shield, etc.

The Plasma Pistol stalls vehicles to when you hit the vehicle it stops for about ten seconds.

New Vehicle called the Mongoose or Quad.

Great Online Play

Overall- A+ A should buy game


The bad things about the game in my opinion:

The Alien Laser is Nooby

It's harder to splatter people with the Banshee because it won't dive down as easy.

The Warthog takes too log and is too strong and won't blow up even when you stick it.

It's a lot harder to stick people with Plasma Grenades.

The Rocket Launcher will not lock on to vehicles.

And that's pretty much it.

Overall it's a great game and is worth purchasing.

I don't have a 360 or Halo 3 Beta...BUT...I HAVE played it a few times over at my cousin's house and it is AWESOME! It literally makes me want to go buy a 360 (Elite, that is... :D)

I plan on having a 360 Elite by the end of this year, along with a copy of Halo 3! :D:D:D

I'd say that halo 3 beta is a lot better than halo 2. It only lacks maps but thats because it is the beta. I think halo 3 full version will be great and will be a huge success. I can't wait for the full version to come out.

Halo 2 is better than the halo 3 beta but the halo 3 beta is awesome

Well, thanks all for Contributing. I highly appreciate it. Hopefully I gan get a 360 sometime and I can play all of those who have Halo 3. The bet ends... I think June 11th. I'm a Halo freak even though I don't own any Halo games which is probably the weirdest thing. But I love all Halo games to death. Why, you ask? I just appreciate the amount of detail they put in their games, from explosions to destructible scenery... I loves it!
