We finally got an Xbox 360 :). We haven't set it up so we don't have gamertags yet.

All I can say is, it's about time. I know you've reserved Halo3, when you get everything together let me know also add your Tag to the list when you get one.

Roly, you can make a windows live Id, just make the age of the user 18 during sign up. Also, you get a free month of xbox live gold during the sign up process on your xbox.

I just recently got a 360 for Halo 3 also. I'm in the same position as you too. I'm flat broke and can't afford XBL.
