calling all pc oblivion players!!!

im trying to download a mod called "Akatosh mount" but no matter what i cant understand how to put it into the game (its version 1.9 if that helps) i need the step by step, plz spell it out for me, directions if you can help

I've played it several times, but never actually owned it... Until today! I bought it, but haven't installed it. But most mod sites should have a Tutorial or Walkthrough or FAQ section that guide you through the process of adding a mod to your game. It's probably not as complicated of a process as you think. Just take a look around the site you got it from, or use a Google search to find info about mods for Oblivion.

That's all the advice I can give.

Oblivion mods are downloaded and then extracted to your Oblivion/Data directory. Thats what I got for you on a simple google search. And of course, READ THE README FOR ANY MOD YOU DOWNLOAD! It will usually have important information on how to properly install and use the mod.
