Xbox 360 is regionfree

Today I got Lost Planet bought from an online shop.
I opened the package and I took out Lost Planet.
Then my eyes glanced on its rating system.
Instead of being an European version it was an American version.
What? They sent the wrong version.

So I started up the Xbox 360, to make certain it was unplayable.
To my surprise it worked!:eek:
It actually worked!!

Now I am thinking can I buy all American games or it is one of the few that is regionfree?

Maybe the box is American and the disc is European:confused:

The disc is American too, it has also the ESRB rating mark instead of the PEGI mark.

It is know that some region locked games do work in other regions. Also with the Wii. You'd better google non region locked games before you're planning on importing them.

Yeah, heard of it that some games are regionfree.
I guess I got indeed lucky and that the expertise of the online shop has proven yet again.:)
