World of Warcraft VS. Runescape
Comparison Review
-------------------------------
You've heard everyone on the forums, people ingame, and maybe even people at school, with mixed opinions on what online role playing game to play. "RuneScape sucks", "World of Warcraft is too easy", even the likely event of another MMO (such as Guild Wars, Everquest, etc.) recieving similar competitive praise can occur. I'm here to give my exclusive full-written essay on what I think deserves the big MMO crown.
Warcraft or 'Scape
--------------------------

Released in the late 90s by experienced developers known as Jagex, RuneScape has come a long way, delivering epic action, a sense of humor, simple visuals and an everpopular pay feature known as "Members", allowing popular new functions such as too many new quests to count and a house feature allowing players to buff up construction to make exceedingly more use for your little home. Along with that, there's so many skills (for example, slayer, cooking, agility, etc.) to master, that you'll be bound to find a favorite or two.
I am still traumatically confused about why some people can't stand even the mentioning of RuneScape. However, while I love Runescape, I have some complaints that could be why some don't play today's hottest browser-based MMO. First things first, I can't stand the phenomenally many that call me n00b plainly because of my combat level (42). Secondly, why does it have to log off entirely when AFK? I understand that it's for keeping players safe from others in the same area that might log onto you, but I think it's a bit paranoid. Lastly, I hate how terrible the death toll is. You lose all your best items!
----------------------------
Despite the two brief complaints, RuneScape is a masterpiece of browser based technology.
Let's move onto Warcraft territory
----------------------------

Look, I could go on all day about this one game, but it would drive you crazy, so I'll keep it simple. World of Warcraft is a faction/race/class based MMORPG which unlike RS, requires a CD for installation but not to play. The game is known by gamers with its intensely massive geographical mass and detail, an insane number of millions online as you read this thread, and enough things to do and see such as the many professions, weapon skills and secondary skills to be learned, over 70 levels (60 without expansion) to work up to, a party feature used for anything from quests to opposing faction territory raids.
While this game is phenomenal like what I said about RuneScape, I do have some comments on the downside. First, handfuls of unlucky players will get moody latency and connection loss issues that can hopefully have solutions found for it via Blizzard's Support site. Second, at times you'll see players spamming in popular chat channels.
Even with that said, I think both games are awesome and worthy of attention.

Aha! The debate still carries on! World of Warcraft is worth the money and the fee plus RuneScape is more affordable but with slightly less features as WoW. It doesn't stop there, Friendcodians! Have your own say by replying or voting in the poll. Thank you all for taking the time to read my essay.
