I want to get xbox live but I don't want to spend a fortune! Has anyone ever tried to plug the xbox 360 into a laptop with a wireless card to get xbox live if so does it work? And if you have a laptop and a xbox 360 could you try it and let me know if it works?

I wasn't talking like stealing it! I was going to buy that! I just do not want to buy the $100 Wireless piece that goes on the back! And was wondering if I could make it wireless using the laptop! lol

Oh.... yeah, you can connect it to a computer or laptop. At least, that's what I do.

Do you use a wireless router that connects your Xbox 360 to the internet through your laptop? Because if that be the case i will get Xbox live quicker!

Yes, you have to be using a laptop that is either connected wirelessly or directly to your internet.

Very nifty. Takes a bit of work to get it to work 100% correctly, but it saves you money.
