Mad about FFXIII on Xbox 360? Rumor about PS3 Final Fantasy exclusive

Regret purchasing PS3 knowing Final Fantasy XIII is on Xbox 360? This whole thing is getting pretty ridiculous, with people complaining to high heavens it’s the end of the world as we know it because Final Fantasy XIII will be coming out on the Xbox 360.

Don’t forget folks Final Fantasy was originally on the Nintendo and you didn’t see them beating themselves up over it.

Over at Kotaku they are making fun of some poster who wrote a letter on a forum comparing his disappointment of Final Fantasy XIII going to Xbox 360 with his autism disability. Get over it guy, it’s not the end of the world.

So is it time to start feeling regret and remorse for getting a PS3 if the only reason for getting it was for Final Fantasy XIII?

The answer is of course no. If you’re that much of a Final Fantasy fan then you should be glad you have a PS3 because not only do you still get to play Final Fantasy XIII you also get to play Final Fantasy Versus XIII exclusive on the PS3.

Also another thing you have to consider is Final Fantasy XIII is being created on the PS3 first then once the PS3 version is complete the 360 development will begin. Basically porting over the game from PS3 to Xbox 360.

Historically ports suffer in quality over the original, it could be so insignificant it’s unnoticeable or it could be significantly noticeable like the PS3’s Orange Box. It’s not much but just throwing it out there for you PS3 fanboys.

Another tidbit that might comfort some of you unstable PS3 folks is according to 1UP’s podcast, Shane gets the scoop from the Final Fantasy XIII team at E3 that there maybe a possible announcement of an exclusive game for the PS3 at the Square Enix event in a couple months.

Apparently the news will be Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children related. So, all the whining PS3 fanboys stop your pathetic crying and cheer up because all is not lost.

I actually prefer XIII on the 360, for the minimal reason that I don't own a PS3 :p I mean I will eventually get one (for GoW3, Heavenly Sword, Kingdom Hearts, etc), but for now I'm good.

Well some people have a PS3 and not a 360. Also this isn't confirmed. There are only rumors.

I personally am really happy its coming to the 360. Just to rub it in, there will not be any loss in gameplay on the 360 version. Well thats what they said.

360 and PS3 games are so alike. Such as COD4.

To tell the truth, I don't see why ANYONE who isn't a fanboy would be so negative about this deal!

I mean, sure, the PS3 is in even more trouble than it was before, but I'm sure Sony can turn this around.

In the meantime, guys, be glad that you're Microsoft-loving friends get to play this masterpiece with you. It might even encourage trophy support!

I personally could care less. Final Fantasy fanboys are really whiny... at least those who are complaining about having a game on a different system. Here's an idea, get a friend with the system and pursuade them to buy it, then just play it at their house. :P

I just don't see a point in getting whiny over it. Final Fantasy has graced all systems numerous times... I don't think Square Enix should have to make ports of the game for every system.

I'm sure you're all expecting me to complain about this but it really doesn't bother me at all. FF is really one of those games I couldn't care less about in the first place, and it's not like it's not on the PS3 anymore, it's just also on the 360. in my mind, everybody wins here.
