Playstation 3 controller

i love the PS3 but its controller is way to weak. i droped it once and now it has a malfuntioning triangle button. now it hits the floor again and shatters. i have no R and L buttons and the controller is split apart bottom to top.

i think they should have made the controller stronger like the PS2's so if it drops it wont die. now i have to buy a new one.

and i have wooden floors and i was standing on a chair.

Must just be yours. I've thrown mine at a friend, dropped it a hundred times, and it still works like new. I bought it used as well.

PS2 controller on the other hand, I dropped that once and the left analog stick stopped returning to its centre position.

I find it very durable.
Maybe you shouldn't play standing on a chair?

Hmm that's weird, I haven't had any problems with mine yet. I love my ps3 controller. :D

If you've managed to drop it twice, and you're standing on a chair, then I'm sorry, but you had to see it coming =P A lot could just be bad luck in the way that it fell and contacted the ground as well. But these controllers aren't meant to be dropped from that distance, so I wouldn't have been surprised to see some damage.

Yeah , buy a Duelshock 3 , I heard they actually have some weight , unlike the one the counsel came with + rumble.

Yeah, I recently picked up 2 dualshocks, and I love them. Now I can play my PS2 games and not feel like I'm missing out. (I never had a ps2.)
