I barrowed Metal Gear Solid 2

Well, I just got MGS2 from my friend.
Well, I wasn't really looking forward for the 1st one, I don't know not really interested in it. I got MGS2 since when I played MGS4, I had absolutely no clue what they were talking about!!!

So I wanted to understand about this game. A lot more!

To tell you the truth, It is really hard!!! I cannot get used to the Controls, since it was WAY different than the 4th one, the Controls were confusing, and you die really easy.

I mean you need bandages to heal when you bleed.
Realistic and all but the Aiming part is hard, how the hell am I suppose to aim off of the lazer sights?

You get used to it, trust me. All MGS games played like that, until MGS4

I started over, It seemed that Normal Mode was too hard for me! xD

I had a hard time with MGS1 at first, but once you get into it the controls are fine.
But yeah In MGS1/2 the aiming is impossible, thats why its called:

Metal Gear Solid
Tactical Espionage Action

it means the point is not to be seen and to use the gun as a last resort, its not a shoot em up game.
Just try to be as stealthy as possible and avoid ever using your gun.

Exactly. The 4th game pays too much attention to the "Action" part and not enough to the "Tactical Espionage." So don't go to the other ones thinking it's like 4, because you'll have a hard time.

sad really, thats what made MGS1/2 so great and differant :(
MGS3 had an okay ballence, but by the end you have so many gaint Machine guns
that being sneaky is pointless,
a waste of time even :(
but Retro Mario, just keep playing and you'll get a feel for the awesome classic MGS's
like Snakepit said, do more 'Tactical Espionage' and less 'Action' for 1 and 2 than in 3 and 4 ;)

The 2nd mgs was just UGH!
that game was just sooooooooo out of wack with the first it scared me.
I've beaten it so if u need some tips let me know.

Metal Gear is Awesome. It has a great story to it.

Nuclear Weapons Mechs, and some reference to actual events in the real world(the water gate scandel)
