Microphone delay

Has anyone else experienced delays when using the microphone?

Whenever I use my mic, there's a short gap between me singing into the mic and my voice coming out of the speakers. This also affects when the game thinks I've sung and, even though I've sung the word perfectly, it thinks that I've sung just as late. I've had to set my Audio lag to about 180ms before it would start working.

My main concern is when I might have friends round to play. If we play as a band and the microphone is used, it's going to be way off. If I change the audio lag, my guitars are going to be way out instead.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Note: I have a CRT telly, not a Hi-Def one, and my normal lag is set at 0ms.

I'm pretty sure this is just one of the faults of GH:WT, sadly. Maybe it's just the wii version, idk. But it lags on all my friends' as well. I do know that for some reason, rockband 2 has basically no lag, which I find bothersome that they couldn't do the same thing for the same kinda game on the SAME console -_-

Does this mean then that no one can effectively have a full band because of the vocals delay? That's awful! How hard can it be to fix the delay before the game is released??

lol i had the same problem with playing canon rock on solo guitar and i got like, 90% when id normally get about 96%-100%

I've never had that problem. Whenever someone plays mic at my after-school program (hardly anyone does), it seems just fine. Of course, they have the PS2 verison, so there may be a difference. But I tried it on the Wii too, and it, again, seem fine.

Maybe it's a internal Wii problem something like that, I dunno. It's never happened to me.
