Rock Band. Guitar Hero was way better off with Harmonix developing their games.
The Only good GH games, to me, were GH3 and GH Metallica.
Rock Band has a huge amount of DLC and a decent music line up. It only took one game for me to prefer their series.

I thought Rock band was to easy theres only 4 scymbols while guitar hero makes it a bit more better cause u have 5 scymbols. I actullay got bored of rock band the guitar never hit notes and also though the drum kit just sucked eggs for me but when i got guitar hero i thought this would be amazing, i did until then i got the drum set new guitar and mic for that That Just rocked but when i goto the setlist i about turned off the game...There was nothing to play until i found some good songs like Beat it eye of the tiger one way or another and livin on a prayer. Linkin park is an emo band though and others in different launguages like.... well idk how did they even make it into the game?! i mean ok oasis amazing and though but songs i didnt even know like la bamba but i had samba de amigo wich is spanish...

Guitar hero were already thinking of making drums before rock band came out they said.
they just couldn't do it and they did it the most biggest bunch of rubbish ive seen in years... why when i play online the drums never work i hit yellow bang in the middle and hit it at the same time and i dont know how it doesnt work.
drum rolls has to goto rockband when i seen beberle2 on youtube i knew that it was much better for drum rolls
So idk maybe rock band by a notch wins
