Questions on World Tour

On the Wii version of world tour can you download guitar hero III songs (like Operation: Mindcrime and Surfin With the Alien) like you can on 360/PS3? that's my main question

And i can just buy the new guitar and the game seperately right (on wii)? just wanna make sure, because everyone likes to dumb stuff up on wii

No you can only download GT:WT DLC, not DLC that used to be available on GH3 on other formats (as the Wii version didn't have any). Although that wouldn't be a bad idea would it? Neversoft could make them available for GH:WT on Wii at a reduced price (100 Wii Points each?), or even extend this to all GH1 and GH2 songs - games which were never out on the Wii - at a further reduced price (50 Wii Points each perhaps, cos they were all covers?). I would gladly use some Wii points to get some classics from the older games.

As for the guitar, the standard GH3 guitar is compatible with GH:WT, so you could happily buy the Solus game and then get the new guitar at a later date if you wanted. This is what I did cos I already had two from GH3 and GH Aerosmith.

and its not worth getting those old songs when you have everys ingle gh :PPP

alright i figured i could just buy a new guitar, which i actually like but everyone i've played is broke. you can't strum down...

but since i can't download gh3 dlc (like dragonforce and all that) i'd basically be paying all that money for trapped under ice and satch boogie and the guitar battles. screw that, i'd rather just find a used ghaerosmith. i actually like that one more than 3

no there are alot of good songs on gh4.
beat it, assasin,rooftops,purple haze,living on a prayer, mr crowley, crazy train, dammit.....the list goes on :P misery buisness, heartbreaker.........

i do love me some ozzy. i like heartbreaker and hendrix and whatever but its just not enough for me. though i really like endless sporadic i can play "anything" over at someone else's house

Maybe, but not everyone has both a Wii and an xBox AND have all the GH's :P

Guitar Hero World Tour is a really nice version of Guitar Hero. If you buy the Guitar Bundle, the Guitar has the New Neck Slider which you can use for Long Notes or Short (Illuminated, I guess) ones. Just buy the Guitar Bundle, it's worth it. Drums seems good too .

its not a good version on wii though. if i had a 360 or PS3 i'd beast up some world tour but i don't.
