It would appear that downloadable songs will be available. Also, the new features include: Co-op Career, Battle Mode, Bosses(Single player). And because the
Wii-remote will be inserted in the guitar, on the
Wii, the game will also have its own unique features: A speaker in the guitar, a rumble feature, and two characters that will only appear on the
Wii and PS2 versions; Metalhead, a Russian robot, and Elroy Budvis, a bulky version of Elvis Presley.
The venues will include(According to
Wikipedia):
Backyard Bash, Mitch's Moose Lounge, Video Shoot, Ye Olde Royal Odeon, Shanker's Island, Desert Rock Tour, Kaiju Megadome, and Lou's Inferno.
The Bosses(Also according to Wikipedia) will include(In this order): Tom Morello(Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave), Slash(Guns 'n' Roses, Velvet Revolver), and Lou, the devil himself.
The Guitar Hero III soundtrack will be released on October 23, 2007, and the game itself will be released on October 28, 2007. The game will, in fact, have online play. Interestingly, the
Wii guitar neck will be detachable, for storage. Also, the guitar will have face plates, it seems. The regular color is
white and will have an American Flag, British Flag, and a wierd brown color for faceplates. Check out
the Guitar Hero 3 website for screenshots and more.
