In the rules it says the last person to post in the friendcodes forums goes through if two racers dont race each other, but I was the last person to comment in this tourney thread and I was the last person to contact blackjack. However I'm still listed as having lost the first round. Not to sound moany, but I think I should be in the second round against duskin. I'm asking bascially if I can race against blackjack, which I'll make sure happens in the next two days. I'm insensed! lol

The last post means the last post on the entire forums, not just this thread. Blackjack had posted in many other threads, and you had only posted in this one.

Sorry if it seems harsh, but that shows me he was on the forum more then you were, and is really the only fair way without creating a huge fuss. Sorry Itsugo. Maybe next time? I'm planning on starting another one straight away after this one finishes.

So in other words, a person can simply avoid this thread and post in other threads without worrying to loose the match by default if he/she has more posts?

Not that I think anyone would do that, however, since I only post a little, so for example does this mean if by chance blackjack cannot respond to me, even If I place messages left, right and centre, he will win by default because of post count elsewhere?

Nuh-uh. I know that you have tried to contact me about it all, although Blackjack15 hasn't as of yet. Contactive me is also a big part. I'm pretty sure that I put that on the first post...

Anyway, it goes by reputation too. Online tournaments are incredibly hard to hold and I'm just trying to the best I can to make things as fair as possible. Duskin, I know you are an honest person, and that you would definetly do your race, so that works for you.

As I say, it's incredibly hard, and it requires dedication from the people involved in the tournament. If people hardly try, then I'm going to kick them out, as they obviously can't be bothered.

If we hear nothing from blackjack15 by Monday, consider ITsugo back in the tournament.

In theory it should be able to self manage itself, with you just keeping it upto date by receiving PMs.

In my own past experience running tournamants/guilds I have came across that people in general are hard to manage too, you never know what will happen or something may change their plans. So I do understand you are trying to do everything and not having a go at you. I'm just having my own say on the matter which may help you decide.

Rules are another factor, I know you'll have to draw the line somewhere and make difficult decisions which may affect people.

With that said, I think you are doing great.

Mariomaniac64, sorry I haven't been able to race. We've had thunderstorms since like Thursday here, and have been out of power since Friday afternoon. I tried to PM you back but it said your inbox was full so it couldn't send. I'll be available almost all day tomorrow up to about 6:00 PM EST. I'll try to keep a hub up here at FC when I'm available.

I'm not that annoyed, as long as the next tournament comes soon I'll do my best to be on time for every race.
