That's right folks, This here is the first ever Unofficial FC Mario Kart Wii Grand Prix. I plan on making these pretty regularly, so keep your eye out for more if you happened to have missed the entry for this one.
It's just as the the title says, this is a tournament designed to seek the best racer out there, to try and find the person with the biggest road rage. If you think that your great at Mario Kart Wii, then this is the tournament for you.
Rules:
Yes, we all hate them, but we have to abide by them, so here are the rules.
These tournament's are going to about skill, rather then just luck. I know that in many Mario Kart/Nintendo games, luck is an important part, but to find skill among that luck is sometimes like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Therefore the following DEFAULT is in place:
You and your opponent will race a Grand Prix of 4 races.
You will select a track you want, provided that it is not one of the tournaments forbidden track. Whichever track it lands on, you will race on. Skill is about being good at all tracks, so get practising!
There must only be you and your opponent in a race. If you happened to win against them in a friends room because you were both in there playing with 5 other people, it doesn't count.
Items. These are entirely up to you, and you must determine with your opponent whether or not you will be using items. If no decision can be reached between you, then the rule is: No Items. Unfortunately, this isn't like Brawl where you can turn them off, but to do this, if you run through a box, you have to keep it and not use it for the entire match. If you or your opponent does use an item, then you must restart the match. If the same person keeps using items with the no items rule selected then report them and I will look into it further.
This could take alot of work, but I trust that the people who are entering this tournament will be mature and honest.
The above rules are merely the Default rules if you can't agree on others. If you and your opponent agree on different rules, then by all means, use them.
Forbidden Tracks:
As of now, the only tracks that are forbidden are:
Rainbow Road
Moonview Highway (Sorry, Mark)
This is because these tracks have alot of obstacles that can completely take the skill factor out of the game. I hope you understand. If any other tracks come to my attention of being unfair, I shall post them here, so please keep an eye out.
There are NO limitations on what character or vehicle you use, so choose whatever ones you want.
If your races are not done by the date specified, then the member with the more recent post on the Friendcodes forums will move on.

Tournaments can only hold a certain amount of people. I am aiming to have a decent amount of people in this tourney, but we have to fit the brackets of course. If needed, then 'byes' will be used on people who are well known to be skilled players.
Decided that we are going to stat at thirty-two people. The quicker we get there, the quicker we start, so get more people to join! =] If we don't, then I will use 'Bye's for people I KNOW are good at MKWii.
Please don't get offended if you don't get a bye, but you are good. It's probably because I have never raced you, but if your as good as you say, you should have no trouble getting passed the first round =]

First place award:
A banner and a sig, proclaiming your win.
