The Rocket Wars
2 for one Clan War and Tournament
The tournament idea I borrowed from a Smogon one when I browsed their forums randomly.
The tournament is double elimination until one is standing.
Prizes as follows:
1st place: Any shiny. (barring legends, and if I have to hatch 2000 Charmander eggs to get a black one, I will do it...that only means that my ranch fills up quicker.)
2nd place: The Pokemon Ranch Mew
3rd Place: Any pokemon with any moveset, ev'd to your liking, with the appropriate nature. (Legends if I HAVE THE NATURE IN QUESTION)
The winning clan gets a clone of the 1st place winner's selection.
REGISTRATION DEADLINES:
1.Registration for individual participants and clans will be closed on July 10th after I get online. (This is just to give time for clans to recruit and such)
2.Round 1 starts on that day if everyone is ready, if not, the 15th.

2.All battles are level 100 single, 6 vs. 6. Voice chat only by mutual consent.
3.All results must be pm'd, pagered, or aim'd to me or I won't acknowledge them, preferably by both parties. (If I can't figure out what happened, it's a double knock-out)
4.The pokemon that will be used must be bought in points. The prices for each pokemon are listed below. Everyone starts with 1000 points. After each round, you lose your right to use the pokemon and must buy your pokemon for the next round.
5.No complaining about the prices. They are what they are.
6.After you purchase your pokemon, and after matchups are determined, you will have the opportunity to wager the amount of points you started out with on any participant in the tournament including yourself. The odds are always 2:1. However, if it is one of the Top 10 Trainers on Friendcodes vs. someone who isn't on that list: The payoff for betting on the other person is 5:2.
(E.g. 1.You have 1000 points, buy 1000 points of pokemon, no bets, you have 1000 points to buy pokemon the next round. 2. You have 1000 points, buy 1000, wager 1000, win your bet, you have 2000 points the next round)
7.If you lose twice. The door prize is a fossil of your choice. You have 3 days from the day you lost to find me and pick it up.
8.All matchups are decided by a random number generator. However, after I close registration, you have the option of announcing publicy in the thread or privately to me on what clan you wish to face next round. (Or if a clan leader wishes to speak on behaf of his clan and announce his clan's choice of target. That's easier for me) I'll augment the randomized results to fit the choice of target when I get to your number. (But not before, and if I just happened to assign all the players from the target clan before I reach your number, you're out of luck) Independents cannot target or be targeted.
9. Your choice of team must be pm'd, pagered, aim'd to me before the round starts or you're disqualified.
10. Yes, I'm participating in the tournament too. If you're going to complain to me that I know everyone's team, and thus have an unfair advantage, you must realize two things before you do that.. A) You're not as good as you think you are and B) Why in the world did you bother spending all that time and effort making a pokemon when simple prior-knowledge destroys the pokemon's strength?
11.Item clause but no "hax" clause. Leftovers not withstanding. This is mostly to give those who lost all of their points a fighting chance b/c all they can purchase are pokemon that aren't fully evolved and bordering on worthless. Species and Sleep clause stands.
12.Hacking or cheating on any scale is unacceptable. Anything caught is immediate disqualification. (I will investigate all hacking issues)
13.When someone turns out disqualified. The points wagered on the match are refunded. And it's not a victory for the person who was hacked against, it counts as a bye.
14.In the event of a bye, the person in the bye cannot have points wagered on them, even though they can still wager on other matches.
15.This is from personal experience. If your time zone is more then 4 hours apart from your opponent or if you have to leave for something important: Either one of you can call a "second" to fight for you with the team you selected if you can't arrange a time to fight on your own. This may only be done once, and only in the loser's bracket. This cannot be done in the finals. If the second loses, you lose, even if it was on purpose. That's the trade off. Can't be helped. I hope this won't be the case b/c I'll be pretty liberal with the round deadlines. I must know about the second(s) before the match starts.
