I don't entirely remember, but I think they're for the big trading sequence? I could be wrong though.

That is correct, sir.



take those clothes to "fake hero" on the traveling ship on the northwest part.
take the item he gives you and give it to the telescope ppl in the southeast.
take the item they give you and give it to the other person in the southwest
take the item he gives you to the fisherman in the northwest.
you will have to do something else and then you finally get a secret ability

That's mostly wrong. Take the clothes to the hero in the northwest, take the kaleidescope to the treasure hunters in the southeast, they will give you a Guard's notebook. Take that to the guard in the southwest. He will give you the Wood Heart. Then, sail around, and eventually you will find two travelers ships. Go to the odd one and you will be greeted by the old wayfarer. He will talk to you, eventually he will ask you to show him proof that you have found romance on the high seas. Show him the wood heart, then attempt to leave the ship. He will then tell you to go to his house. Go there, where you will be attacked by a mini-boss. Then enter his house and take the swordsmans scroll.

um do you get the heros new clothes off of smily dude don't you? For beating up the monsters the first time? well the first time i did that all i got was the letter

That is correct. The second time destroy the monsters you get an item called "the prize postcard." When I sent it in the mail, I got.............Absolutely nothing. It was dissapointing, really, but then there you are.

but I didn't get the heros new clothes at all? so where do i get them from?
