"WTF!?" Moments in MKWii

I've seen crazy thing happening on Mario Kart Wii, and think if others have as well, so if you have expirienced a "WTF!?" moment, post it here, either from online, local multiplayer or one player. Most of them seem to be weird,but funny. XD

Well, this was a "wtf" moment before I found the true reason behind it.
The race ended thirty seconds in and it placed me first and disconnected me from my opponents.

I swear, I've seen a thread like this before.

Woops! Well it's a remake: a Viewtiful remake to be exact. lol

I've seen that before, suddenly the game just stops, and sais I won. I'm like... ok.

Well once, I was playing with someone, and halfway into the race they just stopped moving... so I thought I'd mess around, after crossing the finish line for the second lap, a turned my car around. The latiku indicated I was headed for the wrong direction, but when I crossed the finish line again for the second time, this time backwards, the game just randomly told me YOU WON!! I was liek LOL WUT??? Must have been because we disconnected, but I still found the timing hilarious. xD

Very much every WTF moment envolves getting hit with any item and seeing 5 people pass you x_x. It's really lame and you almost NEVER catch up.

Have any of you guys have been hit by a Spiny Shell while cm away from the finish line? Either during Wi-Fi or not. I hate when that happend, to bad there's no accelerator so you could go alittle more faster. But only one time has happend to me that it hits me and the others just pass by, lossing my 1st place... seems like a friken cartoon or something.

I play my friends all the time and one of the funny things that happend to me was

I was dry bones and I had a bullet bill while I was in last place *I got ganged by shells* And I kept going through the walls and I passed all of the remaining laps in a few seconds or something. WTF?

Wow, that must be a glich or something, since that happend to Jackattack... hmmm... wonder.

Anyways, one time I saw this guy get hit by a Green Shell in mid air!! It was so funny, my friend and I were on PKMN D/P chatting and I told him, and he rofl.:D Sometimes ordinary items make the "lolz" for the race. XD

I had a green shell launch off a booster jump thing and keep going flying up and disapeared O.O

Another one was I had a squid and I was in first place and It hit me and me only O.O
Has that happened to anyone here?
