Tips to get a 3 star rating

Here are some tips to getting 3 stars in grand prix,

1. Stay on the course
2. You have to get 60 points to get 3 star
3. lead most of the game, if not all of it
4. try to get the biggest lead possible so if u get hit by a blue shell you will stay in 1st place
5. Don't fall off the tracks more then once or twice
6. Hold items like shells and bananas behind you so red shells dont hit you
7. Learn to use Manual, its what the pros use ^^

8. Using a bike.. with a bike you can perform many things like for instance if you wheelie while boosting you super fast. Then there's wheeliing in general.

9. A character with speed plus stats like Funky Kong, Daisy etc. Same for a faster bike like the flame runner (I used the Standard Bike L so it not impossible) if you can control them.
10. Any helpful shortcuts or speed boosters/tricks off ramps
11. Luck... If the cpu decides to blue shell you mid jump, or repeatedly it can and will mess you up.

i hate it when your about to win and someone bombards you with shells. or worse throws a blue flyng one.
12. avoid short cuts that you need a speed boost for when you don't have access to one cause they can slow you down, or worse make you fall of a course

Good tips guys! im working on my 3 star rating on my 2nd license, already have 3 stars on my main ^^

I stopped playing ages ago (couldn't take the hackers) but I have 2 licenses one is 9999 vr the other is OVER 9000!
