Triple Bananas / Banana
------------------------------

Description:
The banana is a yellow banana peel that stays on the road until it
is hit. When it's hit, it will make your car spin out, making you slow down
or fall behind in the race.

Using it:
The banana isn't that useful, but if used properly, it can help you
out. It's best to use it when someone is right behind you, so that they hit it
and it puts some distance between you two. Another way to use it would be to
hold it behind you. If someone fired a red shell, or a green shell, and it was
on its way to hit you, it would hit the banana instead. This will keep you
from being affected. The banana that you were holding onto would no longer
exist, but you wouldn't spin out or lose time. If you have a triple banana, and
you use it, the three of them will automatically trail behind you while
attatched to you. When they are trailing, you can hold other items, and they
will deflect all attacks that are fired at you.

Defending against it:
The banana just sits on the road and doesn't move so the
only way not to run into it is to watch where you're going! Also, watch the
backs of other racers, as they might be holding one out behind them. The only
way you can run through a banana without getting affected is to have
a star and become invincible, or to have shells rotating around you so that
they hit the banana, and protect you.

Green Shell / Triple Green Shell
---------------------------------------

Description:
The green shell is an item that you can fire. It will bounce off walls, and if
it hits a racer, will make them spin out. This will make them slow down or
fall behind in a race. The Triple Green Shell does the same, but all three
rotate around you.

Using it:
Normally, the green shell is used to fire at people, but it takes good aim
if you are actually going to hit them. It's best to use them on straight roads
so that there is more of a chance that you will hit someone. Another way to use
it would be to hold it behind you. Like the banana (see above,) they can
protect you from red and green shells that other people are firing.

The triple green shell is different, and should be equipped once obtained.
When equipped, they will rotate around you protecting you from other shells
and bananas on the road. When they are rotating around you, you could also try
to ram into other racers, as the green shells will make them spin out. When
the triple shells are activated, you can hold other items as well.

Defending against it:
If you are holding something behind you (such as another shell or banana,) you
can defend yourself from these. It's not to often that these shells will
actually end up hitting you.

Red Shell / Triple Red Shell
-----------------------------------

Description:
The red shell is an item that you can fire. It looks exactly like the green
shell but is red. When fired, it will automatically home in on the racer ahead
of you. When it hits them (if it hits them,) it will make them spin out, and
slow down. The Triple Red Shell does the same, but all three rotate around you.

Using it:
The red shell is often used to fire at people if there are any ahead of you.
There is a high chance of it hitting them unless they know how to defend
against it. (See "Defending against it" section.) If there is nobody ahead of
you, there isn't much point to firing it, and you should just hold on to it
behind you in case someone else fires a Red Shell at you. If nobody does,
you could save it for when someone passes you, and as soon as they do, fire it
to hit them.

The triple red shell is different, and should be equipped once obtained.
When equipped, they will rotate around you protecting you from other shells
and bananas on the road. When they are rotating around you, you could also try
to ram into other racers, as the red shells will make them spin out. When the
triple shells are activated, you can hold other items as well.

Defending against it:
If you are holding something behind you (such as another shell or banana,) you
can defend yourself from these. Another way would be to drive near some
bananas and hope that the red shell hits them.

Mushroom / Triple Mushroom
---------------------------------

Description:
A mushroom is red and white and will give you a burst of speed that lasts
for a short amount of time. Each one will give you one boost.

Using it:
Make sure that there are no obstacles ahead of you, and then just use it.
It's best to use them on straight roads - they will not help you if you use
them on turns. Also, you should save them if you know that there is a shortcut
on the track. Some shortcuts will only work if you use a mushroom with them.

Defending against it:
There is nothing to defend against.

Bob-omb
--------------

Description:
A Bob-omb is a bomb that can be dropped on the road. It will explode after a
certain amount of time, or if something hits it.

Using it:
If you have it, look behind to see if there are a bunch of people behind you.
If there are, it would be best to drop it because it is likely that at least
one will hit it. If one hits it, any kart near the one is also going to spin
out because the explosion is quite large. It would not be very smart to hold
a Bob-omb out behind you, because if someone hits you with an item, or bumps
into you, the bomb will go off causing you to spin out.

Defending against it:
If someone who is right ahead of you drops a bomb, there isn't much time and
you will likely run into it. If there is more space between you, try as hard
as you can to drive around it, and hope that you miss the explosion.

Spiny Shell
------------------

Description:
A Spiny Shell is a blue shell that when fired, flys through the air to get to
first place. When it gets there, it will make an explosion like a Bob-ombs
(only it will be blue) and will make you spin out, costing you lots of time.

Using it:
Once you get it, you may as well use it because there is no way it can be used
against you (unless you are in first place.) When it is fired, it will fly
through the air and home in on firt place. It will blow them up in a Bob-omb
like explosion, costing them time. If you are in first and you have one of
these, do NOT use it, becuase you will just blow yourself up.

Defending against it:
There really is no EASY way to dodge these shells. The most you can do if one is
coming for you is slow down so that second place gets caught in the blast too.
Of course, if they are far behind you, there is no point and you should just
continue without waiting for second place.

If you are in second and are right behind first when one of these shells are
coming, try and keep away from first place so you don't get blown up too.

However, on the rare occasion that you are in first, a spiny shell is coming for
you, and you have a mushroom, there may be hope of avoinding the shell. If you
use the mushroom at the last possible second, just before the shell is about to
swoop down and hit you, you may be able to speed ahead, and the shell will hit
right behind you. It will miss you, and you'll be able to drive away. It's quite
hard to explain EXACTLY when, but there are many demonstrations on YouTube so
you can just search the technique there.

Another rare way to dodge these shells is to drive through a transporter. For
example, the shell will not fly through the cannon on DK summit, the star chute
on Rainbow Road, etc. However, you would need to be in the right part of the
right tracks for this to work, so it isn't that effective.

Fake Item Block
----------------------

Description:
Fake item blocks are item blocks that look real, but are not. The are red, and
have an upside-down question mark in the middle. Real blocks have a proper
question mark in the middle. Like bananas, these items will make you spin out,
costing you time.

Using it:
Just drop these items on the track and hope that opponents will run into them.
It's best not to drop them near the sides of the track, and in the middle
instead because that's where most people go. If you are playing with only CPUs,
it doesn't take much strategy to decide where to put them, but if you are
playing with other humans, you should think a little bit harder as to where to
put them. A good spot to put them would be in real item blocks. When you pick
a real item block up, simply drop a fake one there. A real one will reappear
making it look as though the fake block is real. Another way to use these would
be to hold them behind you. If someone bumps into you, they will also hit the
block making them spin out. Unfortunatly, these blocks do not keep items such
as shells from hitting you.

Defending against it:
If you see a lone item block on the road, chances are it's a fake one so don't
go for it. You can also tell a fake by checking to see if it's red and has
an upside-down question mark in the middle. Like bananas, they don't move
so just look on the road and try not to hit them.

NOTE: Fake Blocks can also be the color blue, if you're playing team battles or
races. They will still have the same effect, no matter what the color is.

Golden Mushroom
----------------------

Description:
These look like mushrooms, but are all gold and have a crown on them. These
will give you multiple speed boosts. Once you get one, you will hold onto it
until you use it. As soon as you use it once, an (internal) timer starts and
the mushroom will dissappear once that timer reaches zero. You are free to use
the mushroom as many times as you'd like before it runs out.

Using it:
Make sure that there are no obstacles ahead of you, and then just use it.
It's best to use them on straight roads - they will not help you if you use
them on turns. Also, you should save them if you know that there is a shortcut
on the track. Some shortcuts will only work if you use a mushroom with them.

Defending against it:
There is nothing to defend against.

Bullet Bill
------------------

Description:
This looks like a giant bullet. Your car will turn into one of these as soon as
it is activated.

Using it:
Once you get one of these, you should use it. It will put your car on
"auto-pilot" for a couple of seconds (depending on how far back you are.)
It goes faster than a regular vehicle, and will bring you along the track
taking out whatever is in it's way. This is basically like a star, but it
drives for you.

Defending against it:
If you hear one coming up behind you, look back to see where it is, and try
hard to get out of it's path. It might knock you off the track, and will
knock whatever items you have out of you. You should definitly try not to get
hit by one of these.

Blooper
--------------

Description:
This looks like a grey squid. It will cover your opponents (whatever opponents
are ahead of you) with splotches of ink on their screen.

Using it:
When you get this, you should use it and it will cover your opponenets (the
ones in front of you) screens with splotches of ink. This will make it harder
for them to see, and will hopefully make them crash into things.

Defending against it:
If you get covered with this ink, the only way to get it off is to use a
mushroom, or go over a speed patch. The ink will fade away after a couple of
seconds.

Lightning
----------------

Description:
This looks like a lightning bolt, and when used will shrink the opponents that
are ahead of you.

Using it:
As soon as you get it, you may as well use it. It will shrink whatever
opponents are ahead of you. Because they are small, they will go slower and
it will be easy to pass or catch up to them. Another nice side effect is that
all of their items will fall onto the road so you might find stars, or
mushrooms on the road. However, shells will also fall so watch out for those.

Defending against it:
There isn't any way to stop yourself from getting shrunk, unless you are using
a bullet bill or invincibility at the time. Another way you won't get shrunk is
if you are of the course at the time in an out-of-bounds area. There is no way
to tell when lightning will strike. If you are shrunk, do not go over any
jumps that have gaps in the middle because you will not be able to get over
them.

Star
-----------

Description:
A gold star. When used your car will be invincible and nothing will be able
to hurt it.

Using it:
When you use it, your car will become many different colors, and you will be
lots faster. You will also be invincible so nothing will be able to hurt you.
If you have it, you should try to run into other people, as that will make them
spin out and lose all of their items.

Defending against it:
If someone behind you has this, keep out of their way so that they don't hit
you. If they do, you will spin out and lose all of your items.

Mega Mushroom
--------------------

Description:
This was originally taken from the New Super Mario Bros. for the DS. When used,
Mario would grow huge and would be able to walk through almost anything and
crush lots of things. In Mario Kart, it looks the same with its big, orange,
and red head.

Using it:
When you use this, you vehicle will become huge. Because of your size, you will
be able to go faster, and will beable to squish others, making them as flat as
a pancake. When they are squashed, they will go much slower, and after a little
while will regain their original size. When you use this, you can drive
normally, but you're just much bigger. Red shells, green shells, and other
items won't affect you. This item is the oppisite of the Lightning Cloud,
which will make you smaller. Unfortunatly, this item doesn't last for very
long.

Defending against it:
There is really no way that this could affect you negatively, as long as you're
the one thats large. If you're opponent is the one using this item, then you
should run from them and try to keep away from them unless you want to be
squished. Luckily, the item will soon wear out for them.

ITEMS CONTINUED AGAIN

POW Block
----------------

Description:
The POW block is from the original Mario Bros. arcade game and in it, the POW
block would stun all the enemies. In Mario Kart Wii, it has a similar affect.
It is a blue and black box with the letters POW in the middle of it.

Using it:
When you use it, it will appear on opponents screens and will shake twice. On
the third shake, it will make all opponents spin out. This item only affects
people who are ahead of the person who fires it. This item works best against
computers because there is quite an easy was of preventing it from affecting
you which humans can easily use. (See "Defending against it" section.)
However, the higher level a CPU is (by level I mean 50CC, 100CC, 150CC, and
Mirror) the more CPUs can block it. If they don't block it, they will spin out
and lose their items. If they do block it, they will still lose their items.

Defending against it:
To prevent a POW Block from affecting you, continuously do what you would to
preform a trick (on a jump). For example, if I were using the Wii Remote and
Nunchuk, a trick would be preformed by shaking the Wii Remote. To prevent it
from making you spin out, you'd have to shake the Remote as the Block shakes
for the third time. I find it easier to shake the remote for the whole time
that the POW Block is up on the screen. Unfortunatly, you will still lose your
items.

Another way to keep it from affecting you at all is to be in the air at the time
that it goes off. To do so, you would need to go off of a ramp or jump. When
using this technique, you will not lose any items that you are carrying.

Lightning Cloud
----------------------

Description:
The lightning cloud appears as a dark cloud with a lighting bolt on top of it.
This item is quite annoying and will be used as soon as it is obtained.

Using it:
You have absolutely no choice when you want to use this item. As soon as you
get it, it appears over you and is automatically activated. This item will
(after a certain amount of time) go off and shrink you, and you only.
Everyone else will be a normal size except for you. Luckily, before you shrink,
it makes you go faster than normal so that it can give you a chance of getting
rid of it.

Defending against it:
When this item is activated, it gives you a speed increase so that you are
going faster than normal. This gives you a chance to get rid of it. To be rid
of this annoying item, just bump into an opponent and the cloud will transfer
to them, so that they shrink instead of you. Of course, they might pass it on
as well until it finally shrinks someone. Another way to get rid of the cloud
would be to go through a transporter such as the big barrel on DK Summit. If
you don't have a lightning cloud above you, but someone behind you does, try
to keep away from them so that it doesn't transfer to you.

TIPS, TRICKS, AND SECRETS

Rocket Starts
------------------------------------

One of the most basic things to do is the rocket start. It helps
out a lot, and is one of the first things you should learn to
do. If you have played a previous Mario Kart game, you should
know how to do this already. But if you don't know how to do
this, what you do is after you hear the beep for the timer
going to "2" Hold down the accelerate button and then you
will get a boost to start you off at the beginning of the
race. This is very useful. It starts your acceleration and
speed faster, and puts you slightly further ahead. This takes
a few tries to get used to, but it is pretty easy.

Avoiding collisions
------------------------------------

You should try to avoid other drivers as much as
possible. This is where handling comes a lot into play.
Always avoid other racers and make them avoid you as well.
Be alert and focus on what you are doing. If you see someone,
go around them and then stay to the side. Crashing into people
takes away from your speed, and you don't want that. Unless
you are in a really large cart, avoid ramming into people.
Small vehicles have a disadvantage with this. Only ram
people off the road if you are in a large kart.
Also, opponents can slipstream you, and will be able
to go straight ahead of you again, so stay far away so
they can't get it and you can maintain your position.
If you want slipstream yourself, I would reccommend
getting it from a person going at around the same speed as
you. Go directly behind them and stay following them until
you achieve your boost. Be prepared to move if they have
an item to release at you. If they are already holding an
item such as a banana, green or red shell, or a fake box, they
can easily release it backwards at you. Make sure they have
no item with them before you are slipstreaming. If they have
one while you are trying, move out of the way to avoid the
item. Also, make sure you avoid bumping into wall, which
also takes away from your speed majorly.

Making Turns at High Speeds
------------------------------------

If you are going at a high speed, are coming towards a sharp
turn, and you don't think you can make the turn without falling
off or bumping into anything, let go of 2/A (The accelerate
button,) and then accelerate again and make the turn. That
way you won't fall off but you still make the turn with
no hassle. The only problem if that if you are in a vehicle
with low acceleration, you might lose a critical amount
of speed. This is mainly a problem for large vehicles.
You still can do well though, if you drift your way
though the rest of the turn the mini-turbo will give
you your speed back.

Avoiding Obstacles
------------------------------------

Obstacles are a big problem when driving. A lot of people
have lost races just because of the obstacles in the level.
But hey, whats Mario Kart without the obstacles. The key to
dodging obstacles is to PLAN AHEAD. It is so important that
I have to say it again. THE KEY TO DODGING OBSTACLES IS TO
PLAN AHEAD. After playing a lot, you will memorize most of
the courses. When you see the obstacles ahead of you, think
about what you are going to do. If there is something that
appears in the middle of the track, turn to the side in
advance to dodge it. Think about what you are going to do,
and then do it once you reach the obstacle. Stay alert and
sharp and be ready to move fast. It is very important, please
trust me. One obstacle that throws a lot of people off
are the the thwomps in the Bowser's Castle levels. When
you see one ahead of you, drive around it. If there are several
of them blocking the doorway, watch and look for the one that
rose back up most recently. Drive under that one instead of
any other one. The one that went back up while you were close
to it is the one you should drive under, because you are
less likely to get crushed. Another obstacle that gives people
trouble are the cars on Moonview Highway. Almost everyone gets
ran over at least once on that course. What I would reccomend
for you to do is to drive on the side of the road with the
cars driving in the same direction as you are. That way, you
will have more time to tell where you should turn, as to
driving against the traffic will give you less time to
think. Its harder on the narrow roads in the begining of
the level, because there are only two lanes. Drive on the
stones as much as you can, but if you are driving on the
road, try to stay in the middle of the road. There are a
lot of other obstacles, but all I can say to you right now
is to plan ahead what you are going to do to avoid it, and
stay sharp.

Drifting
------------------------------------

Starting out as a beginner, I would reccomend you use automatic drifting.
Once you start racing online use manual drifting. I will
talk about manual drifting in the speed building section,
but I will give tips about it here. When starting manual
drifting, it definately helps to practice. Practice it in
Solo Time Trials or 50cc Cups to start out. Also, when
you are first trying manual drifting, use a vehicle
with good handling. That way if you can't drift very
well, it will be easier to make the turn. Start out
by doing it in Time Trials, but soon you should
move on to the 50cc Cups to get used to using manual
drifting in the atmosphere of a race. It takes awhile
to get used to remembering to drift, especially if you
used automatic drifting for awhile. Manual drifting
gives you the mini-turbo, which can help a lot during
a race. Practice this in Time Trials and 50cc, and after
you have it perfect and do it well, move on to using it
in Wi-fi or any other thing you want to use it in. Just
make sure you don't overuse the drifting. You don't have
to use it on every single turn. Only use it on tighter
turns. Although if you are using a vehicle with low
handling, you should drift on almost every turn. This
is another one of the hardest things to learn, but it
is worth it in the long run.

Overall, when driving, you should always avoid other
racers, moderate your acceleration on sharp turns,
plan ahead to avoid obstacles, and use manual drifting.

Increasing Speed
-----------------------------------------------

Have you ever wondered why all the people you race on
Wi-fi become monsterously far ahead? It's because they
always use certain techniques to help them go faster.

------------------------------------
Manual Drifting
------------------------------------

Using Manual Drifting is one of the best ways to get more
speed. If your car has a good mini-turbo rate, this
will give you an even bigger bonus. Anyway, once
you learn manual drifting and can do it well, try
to get the mini-turbo is often as possible. You don't
really need it on smaller turns, but on every other turn
it can help you get ahead pretty fast. You get one almost
every time you drift, and if you drift a lot it can put you
pretty far ahead. Drift whenever you can, except on straight
roads of course. If you are on those turns like the ones on
Luigi Circuit with the speed boosts along the turn. Practice
manual drifting, it is useful.

Tricks
------------------------------------

You know those tricks you can do off jumps that gives you a
small boost? Do them. You may have thought they were a waste
of time after awhile, but they are not. Do them whenever
you go off a big enough jump. They may not be big boosts,
but they do make a difference.

TIPS, TRICKS, AND SECRETS CONTINUED

Wheelies (Bikes only)
------------------------------------

If you are using a bike, take advantage of the wheelies.
If you are on a long straight road, do a wheelie. It doesn't
give you that big of a boost, but it does make you go faster
than other people. Just don't use it once you are reaching the
turns, cancel it early if you need to, there have been times
where I got knocked into walls and even off of the road
because I held my wheelie too long. Once again, the boost
isn't big, but it does make a difference.

Slipstreaming
------------------------------------

Slipstreaming is another things that can help you get further
ahead, except these make a bigger difference. When you get
the chance, get behind the person in front of you and stay
behind them long enough to get yourself a boost. Just make
sure they don't have an item that they can launch behind them
and stop you in your tracks. Items like bananas, triple bananas
especially, red and green shells, and fake boxes can screw you
over. If they have a triple banana or triple shells, running
into them can stop you, and other items can stop you pretty
fast if you are not alert enough. Use slipstreaming whenever you
can unless they have an item that can move you off your tracks.

Recovering boost
------------------------------------

If you fall off the edge of the track, there is a way to re-gain
speed, and get a boost. As soon as you hit the ground, press
2/A, and you will get a small boost to put you back on track.
Practice this, it is pretty handy to know, just in case you
get pushed off the track or get knocked off by accident.

Corner Cutting and Shorter Turns
------------------------------------

Something that I have used and many other people use to get
further ahead is corner cutting. If you have a mushroom or
have the chance to get extra speed, cut corners. Depending how
much you can skip, you will be slightly further ahead. Some
good corners to cut are the ones in the Dry Dry Desert + Ruins,
and the big turn in Luigi Circuit. Be accurate on the Luigi
Circuit turn though, there are a lot of pipes that can get in
your way.

Another way to put you further up on the map is taking the
shortest turn you can on turns. It sounds werid when I type
it, but you will probably get what I mean. Basically, what
you do is drift on the smallest edge of the turn, therefore
you will have less to drive over and less room to cover. This
applies to all types of racing. Don't take the long turn, take
the short one, and you will have less room to cover. In simpler
terms, if it is a turn that goes right, stick to the side on
your right. If it is a left turn, stick to the side on your
left. This might not sound very useful when reading about it,
but trust me, it makes a difference.

Snake Drifting Alternative
------------------------------------

Last but not least, snake drifting. This is an infamous
technique that many people use, and it is known to be very
hard. Basically, snake drifting is repetitively drifting
on a straight road and using the mini-turbo to put you
further ahead, which makes you look like a snake when driving.
This was mainly used in Mario Kart DS. There is one problem
though. First of all, in Mario Kart DS, you can control when
you got the mini-turbo, but in Mario Kart Wii, it depends on
how long you drifted and how much you moved. Nintendo saw
us snake drifting, and they weren't happy. They thought it
was a way of cheating. Nintendo prevented this in Mario Kart
Wii by making the mini-turbo occur only when drifting and
curving, and not while drifing straight. So in this game,
it would take longer to get the boost and it would be harder
to get the boosts. It is uncommon to see snake drifting in
Mario Kart Wii, but the best racers still do a different form
of it. What you can do is get the mini-turbo as often as
possible. Drift on every turn you can, even small ones.
Definately practice this in Time Trials first. It may seem easy when
it is talked about, but it is harder actually do than it seems.
Go in to time trials until you can do this decently. Once again,
it is harder to do because of the drifting style in this game,
so you might not be able to get a full snake. All you can
do is get the mini-turbo whenever you can. You might need to
practice this a little, but generally all you have to do
is drift a lot.

Take advantage of those little speed boosters, they can really
help you out. Also always use manual drifting and get slipstream
boosts when ever you can. Cut corners when you can, always take
the shorter side of the turn, and get mini-turbos whenever possible.

--- Mushroom Cup ---

Luigi Circut:

1. When you go around the turn with the Luigi statue, there is a straight
area with dirt/sand on the left. There is a ramp that you can use.

Moo Moo Meadows:
None

Mushroom Gorge:

1. When you start, there is a green mushroom and a red mushroom on the left.
In between, there is a jiggling mushroom. If you go off the cliff using a
mushroom, you will land on a bouncy mushroom. Trick off of it, and you will
reach another mushroom. Trick again, and you will land near the launch pad on
the bridge.

2. After going off the bridge, you will go around the corner. You can take a
right or left. The left is the short cut. there are booster pads on it, and
item boxes.

3. When you come to the cave, there are to paths to take. The left is a
shortcut. Bounce and trick off the first mushroom tho the left, and keep
going.

Toad's Factory:
None

--- Flower Cup ---

Mario Circut:

1. When you go arond a corner, you will see a Chain Chomp. In the sandy
area, there is a booster. Trick off when you hit it. You might need to
use a mushroom to get there.

Coconut Mall:

1. When you go up the escalators at the beginning of the lap, take a right and
go into a shop. It is offroad, so you might want to use a mushroom. when you
get out, trick off the ramp.

2. After the turn past the fountian, you will see a boost pad in the middle of
the track. Take a right and go around the corner on the other side of the
square posts. Trick after you use the boost pad.

DK Summit:
Use Mushrooms, mega mushroom, or star to ride through the snow where the Shy Guys are skiing. There is also a harder shortcut on the first "S" turn where you can fall of the edge onto the other edge, cutting the corner. Some can do this without a mushroom and some have to use a mushroom. Use what works for you.

Wario's Gold Mine:

1. After you launch off the big ramp, here are mine carts going on a track.
If you time it right, you can get in front of one and fall onto a narrow cave
with boost pads and a ramp. Trick when you reach the end.

--- Star Cup ---

Daisy Circut:

1. After you go arond the first "S" turn there is a staircase with a boost pad
to trick off of.

Koopa Cape:
None

Maple Treeway:
Once you start the race there is a shortcut to your right. You need a mushroom, mega mushroom, or star to get past the grassy part.

Grumble Volcanoe:
None

--- Special Cup ---

Dry Dry Ruins:

1. When you come up to the bridge, take a left turn to the area that is
offroad. There is a fallen pillar that you can use to trick off of. You must
use a mushroom unless you have a vey good offroad car. Warning: This pillar
falls around 1:04 in the race.

Moonview Highway:

1. Right after the first turn, there is an elevated area on your right.
If you turn onto it, you will be led to a ramp to trick off of.

Bowser's Castle:

1. When the stone Bowser is shooting fireballs at you, there is a ramp
in the middle after the first section of the half-pipe.

Rainbow Road:
1. Use a mushroom to jump over the two holes. I RECOMMEND DO NOT DO THIS IN A HEAVY KART.

--- Shell Cup ---

GCN Peach Beach:

1. After you take your first turn, there is a yellow pianta waving his hands
or clapping. Behind the block he is on, there is a launch pad to trick off of.

2. After you pass the yellow pianta, there is a pool of water in the middle
of the track. Go around the right of the pool and avoid the "Quacks".

DS Yoshi Falls:
None

SNES Ghost Valley 2:

1. On the straight piece track right after the first "[" shaped turn, there is
a ramp on the right side of the track you can trick off of.

N64 Mario Raceway:

1. After you round the corner with the big orange mushroom, there is a
Pirranah Plant to the right of a blue and white ramp. Use a mushroom boost
unless you have good offroad.

--- Banana Cup ---

N64 Sherbert Land:
(Mmmm...)

1. After a few risky turns about 1/3 through the track, there is a rock in the
middle of the track. Take the path on the right side of it to find a narrow
path with a launch pad and a few item boxes. It is very easy to hit the wall.

GBA Shy Guy Beach:
None

DS Delfino Square:

1. After you make some sharp turns through some buildings, you will have 2
paths: a straight ahead one, or one to your left. take the one straight ahead.

2. After you come out of the buildings, there is a sharp left turn. You will
see two signs pointing left. Go on the left side of the fence, but to the
right of the two trees, and go off a ramp (and trick!) onto a dock. You must
be going a high speed if you are a heavy kart to make the jump. Go up the
dock.

3. After you come out of the buildings, there is a sharp left turn. You will
see two signs pointing left. follow the signs and you will see two boxes. Go
around them, or break them by ramming them and take a sharp turn into an
alley. This alley is considered offroad level 2, meaning it slows you down
more than other offroad, so use a mushroom, or pick one up from the broken
box. It may contain a banana, so be carefull!

GCN Waluigi Stadium:
None

No shortcuts in this entire cup! Just a waste to type "none" four times.

1. Afer you go down the hill with the hedges, you will come to a place full
of Monty Moles. Go to the right on the grassy area to find a ramp to trick
off of.

2. After you trick off the first ramp, you can move left to the other side
of the track to another ramp in the grassy area.
