Don't get rock band, its pretty much the same as the PS2 version.
WiiS2? No thank you, not to mention there aren't downloadable songs like they should have taken advantage of with the Wii shop channel and WiiConnect24, and there is possibly not even Wi-Fi for the game.

MKWii would be the better investment in my opinion.

..Has anyone noticed that Nintendo is just slapping on Wii on most of their game titles?

Go for Mario Kart, a immense replay value. If your still not sure, wait for a review on Rock Band. Compare them, then decide what you prefer the most.
