A tip on getting the expert staff ghost

Ok, for those trying to get one of the two characters unlockable by getting expert staff ghosts, here is my all essential tip for you guys.

Play the staff ghost, beat it. Then, play the ghost that beat the staff ghost, and repeat the process. You will gradually get better, because you are competing, and competition brings out the best. I know this seems like a simple tip, but I got so frustrated trying to beat the staff ghost, because it didn't give me a threat.

Please don't say this tip is dumb, as I'm sure this could help those who need help with the expert staff ghosts.

I did that for Mario Raceway on the N64 back in the day. My time trial record was crazy. Beat the staff ghost by like 2-5 seconds

I'm trying to get enough right now to get a character, but I've gotten one so far. :D

Anyway, I'm just glad they don't make you beat the expert staff ghost... those things are fast.

Ya they are... It's pretty easy to unlock them though, using your tip and just doing your best.

At first I thought you only had to beat the staff ghosts to unlock the characters, but then realised I had to unlock the expert staff ghosts instead. When I checked all the times there were printed on these forums earlier, I found most of the time I was only about 1-2 seconds off unlocking the experts, so I raced my own ghost to make sure I did :D

Actually, sorry to correct, but it's two relating to expert ghost data.

If you are thinking of Toadette and Birdo, then those are just for playing the time trials.
